We are currently seeking a reliable and hands-on Gardener/Handyman to maintain the grounds and infrastructure of a private estate in London. The property includes landscaped gardens, a pond, fountains, a tennis court, and multiple recreational areas.

Responsibilities

Garden & Landscape Maintenance

  • Lawn care: mowing, edging, fertilizing, aeration
  • Seasonal planting, mulching, weeding
  • Pruning of trees, shrubs, and hedges
  • Pest control and seasonal spraying
  • Monitoring and maintaining the automatic irrigation system

Water Features

  • Cleaning of pond and fountains
  • Monitoring water levels and filtration systems
  • Removing algae and mineral deposits

Outdoor Areas & Infrastructure

  • Sweeping paths, terraces, and stairways
  • Cleaning outdoor glass and decorative surfaces
  • Maintaining drainage systems and rainwater inlets

Minor Repairs & Maintenance

  • Replacing bulbs, tightening fixtures, painting touch-ups
  • Assembling or installing furniture and garden features
  • Basic plumbing, ventilation, and electrical tasks

Event Support & General Duties

  • Setting up outdoor areas for guests and events
  • Moving furniture, lighting, and equipment
  • Performing various household tasks and errands

Key Skills

  • Proven experience in gardening and property maintenance (private household experience is a plus)
  • Strong practical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Good physical condition and attention to detail
  • Basic English required; ability to follow instructions
