Our client, a well-established company located in central London, is looking for an experienced Lawyer with a focus on Criminal Law. You would be joining a team of legal professionals working on various cases with a criminal law emphasis.
As a Russian Speaking Criminal Lawyer you will be responsible for conducting extensive legal research on the relevant cases and acting as first point of contact for any criminal law related enquiries from all company employees. You will also carry out investigative work, draft documents and liaise with third parties to retrieve the necessary legal information. You would be expected to keep up to date knowledge of the criminal law frameworks in the UK and Europe.
The successful candidate will be/have:
- Educated to degree level in Law (ideally qualified in the UK or EU);
- Fluent English and Russian (both written and verbal);
- 3+ years previous experience of working in the field of criminal law;
- Self motivated and able to work independently;
- Excellent document drafting skills;
- Meticulous with a great eye to detail.
