Villa Manager for Private Family Residence. Dubai

Salary £40000 — £60000 per annum

Date 10 August 2026

We are seeking an experienced, highly capable Villa Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a private family villa in Dubai. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, detail-oriented professional who takes genuine pride in maintaining a home to the highest standard.

The role offers flexibility: full-time, hands-on presence is required in the lead-up to and during family visits, while a part-time, check-in basis is sufficient between visits to ensure the property remains fully operational and well-maintained in the family’s absence. This variability suits someone who thrives on autonomy and can manage their own schedule effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Property Oversight & Maintenance

  • Take full ownership of household management, general maintenance, and overall supervision of the villa
  • Conduct systematic, thorough property checks on a regular schedule, including:
  • Walking through every room to check general condition
  • Testing air conditioning throughout the property
  • Checking for water leaks and running all taps and showers
  • Flushing toilets and checking drains
  • Inspecting the roof/terrace area
  • Checking the garden and irrigation system
  • Verifying Wi-Fi connectivity
  • Checking CCTV and alarm systems are functioning
  • Inspecting for signs of pests
  • Document and report any issues promptly with clear photos, and follow up to ensure timely resolution

Preparing the Villa for Family Arrivals

  • Set air conditioning to the correct temperature ahead of arrival
  • Supervise the housekeeper, stepping in personally to assist with cleaning whenever needed
  • Ensure all beds are freshly made with clean linens
  • Ensure fresh towels are available throughout the property
  • Stock and check all toiletries
  • Stock the fridge and pantry according to family preferences
  • Have coffee/refreshments ready for arrival
  • Ensure the roof/terrace area is cleaned and cushions/furnishings are set out
  • Test TV and streaming services
  • Confirm Wi-Fi is working properly
  • Ensure the garden is tidy and presentable

During Family Stays

  • Be the family’s main point of contact to ensure a smooth, pleasant, and comfortable stay
  • Respond promptly and professionally to a wide range of family requests and enquiries
  • Proactively monitor that everything in the property is functioning well, addressing issues before they escalate
  • Support the family in navigating daily life in Dubai — coordinating meetings, managing agendas, and organising social gatherings
  • Monitor and restock household supplies as needed
  • Manage and support the housekeeper, stepping in hands-on when required
  • Manage wardrobe needs, including packing and unpacking for the family

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in household management, property maintenance, or housekeeping — gained either within a private HNW/UHNW residence or a luxury hotel environment
  • Impeccable trustworthiness, discretion, and reliability
  • Strong, verifiable references from previous employers
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritise, organise, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Fluent English (both written and spoken)
  • A genuinely flexible, hands-on attitude — willing and able to personally step in and clean the villa if the housekeeper is unavailable
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills
  • Confidence in sourcing, negotiating with, and managing external suppliers and maintenance contractors
  • A “whatever it takes” mindset, including a willingness to work extra hours when required

Why Join This Role

  • The opportunity to support a dynamic, young family in a beautiful private residence
  • A naturally balanced workload — busy, hands-on periods around family visits are offset by quieter maintenance-only periods when the family is away, offering genuine flexibility and downtime.
