This is a great opportunity to join a rapidly growing broadcasting and event company based in the heart of London as a Junior Lawyer to assist on commercial affairs, human rights, broadcasting and media projects. This role is a part-time opportunity where you can develop and grow within the company and increase your working hours within one year.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Compliance checks, guidance reviews, monitoring information
- Drafting various commercial contracts, offers and agreements
- Liaising with various law firms, banks and clients
- Assisting with various human rights cases
- Liaising with media personnel to analyse and agree on compliance procedures
- Liaising with Senior Partner regarding on-going cases and compliance procedures
- Assisting Senior Partner and Legal Counsel with various on-going cases
- Attending meetings, hearings, seminars
Who we need:
- An enthusiast with tons of common sense and flexible approach
- With legal degree from CIS, European and/or UK based university and
- Sound knowledge of Russian and UK legal systems
- Fluent Russian and English language skills, verbal and written
- Commercial legal experience, as well as some exposure into human rights projects is highly preferred
- Happy to start on part-time bases – 2-3 days a week with potential to develop into a full-time role
