This is a great opportunity for a Management Accountant to join one of the top resources companies in the world in their luxurious offices in London.
You will work under IFRS and will be involved in all technical aspects of corporate accounting. You will apply the principles of accounting to provide the financial information necessary for the planning and financial protection of the company, establish and maintain financial policies and management information systems, as well as liaise with management colleagues on all aspects of finance. This role combines accounting skills with business management skills. You will analyze the performance of a business and advice on how to pre-empt problems, adapt to changing circumstances and improve value. You will provide financial advice and information to support strategic business decision-making and control.
The ideal candidate will be a fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience, top level technical accounting skills and strong IFRS experience. Corporate background is a must as well as professional and flexible attitude. Russian language skills are highly desirable.
