Our client, a well-established metals trading firm, is looking for a candidate to join an ambitious and dynamic team of top traders. Your main responsibilities will include physical trading on different metals, particularly non-ferrous metals or steel. Existing client database is vital for this role, with particular interest of contacts within well-known trading houses and steel mills worldwide. Understanding of raw materials movements, shipping and logistic is a key. You will be joining a diverse team as a Senior Trader and will be working closely with CEO of the company.

To be successful you will need to have a background metals industry and will be able to deal with consumers from CIS countries, European or African markets. An ideal candidate will be a trader for at least 10 years and will have a deep and solid understanding of the processed involved in dealing with metals, their shipment and logistics. Knowledge of Russian is advantageous but not a must; degree is essential as well as some finance industry recognised qualifications. Metals and mining industry experience in the beginning of the career is highly preferable, ideally followed by metals physical trading expertise for the last 5 years. Great communication skills and client liaising qualities is absolutely essential.
