Our client is looking for a Russian speaking Junior Cataloguer to join their London office. As a Russian speaking Junior Cataloguer you will be working in a close-knit team of valuation and auction experts. This is a junior position and will involve assisting with preparation of catalogue notes and information about each art piece. You will be required to provide on-going administrative support to the Head of the Department as well as the team of 3 Cataloguers. The role will require the candidate to have a high standard of knowledge in History of Russian Art.
The ideal Russian speaking Junior Cataloguer will:
• Be a fluent Russian speaking with high standard of written and spoken language as well as fluent English;
• Hold a university level degree in Art History, the candidate with degree in History of Russian Cultural History and Art will be given a preference;
• Be a quick learner, proactive and well organised;
• Have an interest in dealing with fine art (previous experience would be a bonus!).
