On behalf of our client, we are looking for an experienced client administrator/ bookkeeper to join their busy office in Central London. Founded in 2000, and located in central London, full range of immigration assistance and auxiliary services provided, thus offering a complete relocation package for both individuals and businesses. All types of company formation, legal, banking assistance, property, accounting, payroll administration and tax services are provided for their clients.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced bookkeeper – administrator to join fastly accountancy team. This is a full-time and permanent role to start ASAP.
This position suits either AAT or partly qualified bookkeeper with strong bookkeeping and administrative skills.
Main duties will include:
- Xero bookkeeping for small and medium-sized businesses including retail, logistic, investment and media companies, brokers, agents, consultancy firms etc
- Clients’ communication, reviewing and analyzing data submitted by clients
- Bank reconciliation
- Purchase ledger, sales ledger, wages, journals, and petty cash
- Accounts preparation up to trial balance
- Preparation of VAT returns, EC sales lists and Intrastat Trade Statistics based on current legislation and liaising with HMRC on behalf of the clients
- Assistance with daily basis queries from the accountancy department clients
- Management of clients’ deadlines including deadline notifications and clients invoicing
- Updating databases and records to reflect client requests/Client maintenance using workflow max
- Filing and documents archiving for clients
The successful candidate should have:
- Good practical knowledge of Xero accounting software
- Bookkeeping – at least 2 years of professional experience (preferably using Xero)
- Experience with other accountancy software packages would be beneficial
- Customer service and admin experience 2+ years
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Fluent English, Native Russian
- Good communication and organization skills
- Accounting qualification is an advantage
- Excellent communication and organization skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Knowledge of payroll administrating is an advantage
