Our client is a training provider for natural therapies, with 10 colleges in the UK and Ireland. They are expanding their International department and are looking for a Russian-speaking proofreader for a part-time (30 hours plus) or full-time role, based in the London office or remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Proof-reading (Russian) a range of documents that were translated from English to Russian, mostly naturopathic, nutritional and medical translations (e.g., subtitles, PowerPoint presentations)
• Liaising with eLearning Technologist
• Tracking and recording job progress
• Participating in regular team meetings

The ideal candidate must have

• Proficiency in Russian (native speaker)
• Excellent knowledge of Russian grammar
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
• A minimum of 1 years experience as a proof-reader in Russian
• A meticulous reader with a keen eye for detail
• A hard-working, collaborative approach
• Ability to work independently
• Experience in translation is desirable
• Experience in copywriting or writing generally
• Knowledge of CAT tools and subtitle editing applications is a bonus
