This is a great opportunity for an experienced Private PA with native or near-native English language skills, great knowledge of the UK domestic and business culture and great organisational skills, to join a Single-Family Office in London in supporting the Principal and his Family on various private and business matters. Ideally, you will be working some days from the office and/or the residence in Central London, and some days from home.
Responsibilities
- Liaising with banks, internet banking
- Provide active support to Principal and his wife on various matters, including local cultural adaptation and resolving everyday issues, assisting with document preparation
- Assisting Family Office staff with capital investments and other business projects
- Organising meetings, appointments and managing the family calendar
- Liaising with and managing household staff, recruiting staff, managing the principals’ property
- Researching and analysing information, conducting negotiations, selecting service providers
- Interacting and supervising contractors, consultants, designers, and other professionals across the properties, as well as resolving issues while keeping the Principal informed to ensure projects are successfully completed in an efficient manner
- Travel support and various travel arrangements
- Assisting with purchases, including real estate and vehicles
- Organising a workplace (renting an office), addressing administrative issues
- Coordination and control of expenses, cost optimisation
- Ad-hoc duties
Requirements
- At least 3 years PA/EA work experience in the UK
- BA education level is preferred
- Experience of efficiently interacting with basic UK government structures regarding people’s basic needs when relocating to the country
- Skills in organising meetings and managing the employer’s calendar
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Skills in making non-cash payments, paying bills
- Negotiation skills, including with banks and other service providers to optimise expenses
- Experience in planning and organising international trips
- Initial self-employed permanent contract
- Confident self-organisation skills, planning, high adaptability
- Excellent native or near-native English language skills, both written and spoken
- Driving license (category B), preferably with a car
