This is a great opportunity for a top class marketing manager with at Least five years experience of working for a TV broadcaster in Marketing Director’s capacity and higher marketing related degree. Also as the role is situated in the Ukraine, you have to speak at least some Russian/Ukrainian and be willing to relocate there in a long term.
You will be responsible for:
• According to orders of company management and according to needs of all business units plan, organize, coordinate and ensure marketing and communication strategy within brand of TV Channel;
• Manages all departments within the marketing division according to actual organizational structure (creative , research, brand managers, PR);
• Ensure evaluation of marketing activities in line with organization structure and budget of the department;
• Coordinate activities of different specialists in production, sales, advertising, promotion, research, and finance;
• Deliver the brand’s profit, volume and market share objectives;
• Ensure effective usage of own resources of company;
• Process and supply analysis of ratings and share data, ensure researches projects according to needs of the, prepare programs analysis within the rating;
• Ensure analyzes of status and development of TV advertising market;
• Participation in charity events organized by TV Channel;
• Respect and follow all requirements of other internal procedures, which influence his/her stated working activities;
• Monitor and analyze sales volumes, market share trends and competitive activity;
• Manage the operational and fiscal activities of the department;
• Responsible to meet department productivity and goals;
• Responsible for staff scheduling to include: work assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignment, back-up for absent employees;
• Create appropriate metrics and evaluate marketing effectiveness;
• Other duties as assigned.
Ideally you will be/have:
• Higher marketing related education
• Marketing Director experience in TV broadcasting – ideally 5 years plus
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management
• Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures
• Experience in formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
• Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources
• Ability to analyze and interpret financial data
• Knowledge of public relations principles and practices
• Knowledge of communication and public relation techniques
• Ability to develop and deliver presentations
• Ability to identify and secure funding / revenue sources
