This is a great opportunity to join one of the top Investment Offices based in the heart of London as ‘a right-hand man’ of a Senior Legal Counsel of their international Legal Department.
We are looking for a candidate with ideally an excellent academic background from a UK university. Candidates with no UK degree can be also considered but they should have more experience working with English/common law matters gained from reputable law firms/in-house (at least 3-4 years in a mid-level – senior position).
Ideally, at least 1-2 years of experience in private practice in-house as a junior attorney, however, relevant practice gained in an international law firm can be also considered. That said we may consider right candidates having less working experience but able to and ready to learn fast.
The candidate should possess strong knowledge of legal concepts applicable to job requirements (specifically in areas of corporate, transactional, real estate, financing, trusts, etc.).

- Excellent legal research and drafting skills;
- Ready to work under pressure in a very busy and demanding environment;
- A good team player and have a “can-do approach” to solving problems;
- Strong attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and a high level of independent problem-solving abilities;
- Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines, process and keep track of large quantities of information and multi-task;
- Ability to draft legal documents (agreements, corporate resolutions, etc.);
- Extensive knowledge of secretarial and office administrative procedures;
- Analytical ability in order to gather and summarize data, find solutions to various issues, and prioritize work;
- Ability to escalate appropriate issues to senior management in efficient and clear manner (the junior lawyer shall work under supervision of the senior legal counsel and shall report to senior legal counsel and head of the office);
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations;
- Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofing materials, establishing priorities and meeting deadlines;
- Maintain and update confidential legal filing system according to internal policies;
- Liaise with other departments internally and external service providers, agents, counsels, etc.;
- Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize, and organize a diversified workload and maintain a high level of confidentiality;
- Extensive knowledge of secretarial and office administrative procedures;
- Shall not be averted to performing numerous paralegal tasks (e.g. filling and filling forms, drafting resolutions, keeping registers, organizing files and documents) without extra support;
- Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excell, Power Point, Word, Outlook.
