This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR Manager who is keen to join a well-established and steadily growing investment firm based in the heart of Central London. This role offers part-time (3 days per week) and full-time (full 5 days) options, but both will be fully office-based. The hours are 8.30 am to 5.30 pm.

This opportunity is a newly established position within the team, and will require stand-alone knowledge and capability to develop efficient HR systems from scratch.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in the development of the London office’s HR strategy
  • Developing HR policies and procedures for the London office from scratch
  • HR control and execution of the budget and payroll, adaptation of candidates and new hires
  • Hiring candidates for the office – liaising with recruitment agencies, using alternative searches
  • Assessment and selection of candidates for the open vacancies for all offices
  • Creation of a unified procedure and implementation of candidate assessment methodology
  • Working with management to assist them with onboarding, performance reviews, etc.
  • Individual and team motivation and performance evaluation
  • Development of an effective system of remuneration linked to employee performance
  • Managing recruitment and HR processes for the private household team of the company owner and family
  • Participation in the preparation and delivery of strategic sessions, event, and team-building activities

Key skills

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent in human resources, psychology, or management with an economics/finance focus
  • Sound experience in relevant level HR positions, where you created policies from scratch
  • Russian language skills are highly desirable
  • Understanding and willingness to work from the Central London office
  • Working in Financial Services, a Family Office or an Investment Firm is highly desirable
  • Experience in a stand-alone role (start-up experience) is desirable
  • Experience in developing and implementing critical HR processes
  • You will be a team player who is able to get on with various members of the close-knit team
  • Reliable and efficient approach
