An excellent opportunity for a top organiser with household management experience has arisen. A delightful HNW Family is looking for an experienced Household Manager with strong organisational skills to join their household team on a full-time permanent basis.

The role is live-out with standard working days and hours with some occasional exceptions when required. It is a cosy household based in a lovely Holland Park, convenient to travel, wonderful team.

Responsibilities:

  • To overlook all household maintenance and renovation projects
  • To negotiate with the service suppliers
  • To oversee any renovations and constructions, hire contractors and builders as well as liaise with the relevant third parties
  • To ensure that the household-related purchases are made
  • To be the main point of contact for all visitors, as well as for the family members
  • Overseeing all HR and recruitment requirements for the household team (small team)
  • Recruit and train staff, developing rotas – provide efficient staff management
  • Prepare budgets for projects, such as renovations or constructions, and daily management of the household
  • Liaising with the Principal and family members to ensure seamless service
  • Organising and coordinating the Principal’s and guest visits in collaboration with all departments
  • Handling other projects as assigned by the family members
  • Overseeing security measures of the house
  • Expenses report and overall household budget for each month
  • Ensuring the household and assets are being managed efficiently
  • Initialising and overseeing IT, media, and other tech management systems of households
  • Administration – overseeing household invoices, bills, expenses, budgets
  • Reporting to the family members.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a Household and/or a private PA/Office facilities role is a must
  • Excellent organisational and operational skills, great attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of household budgets and management of the household finance
  • Diplomatic and personal approach at all times
  • Proactive and able to take initiative
  • Able to work autonomously and motivate a small household team of housekeepers
  • Russian language skills are an advantage but not a necessity
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Full UK work permit.
