Responsibilities:
- To develop business connections with travel agencies and tour operators in China
- To work closely with the Management to establish well-packaged tours and exciting programs for visiting the Maldives
- To sell the tours to the Maldives in bulk offers (BtoB) to travel industry representatives
- To coordinate the contracts, negotiate the deals and close the sales
- To travel within China to meet industry representatives and establish a strong business relationship
- To report on your progress to company Management, participate in creating targets and KPIs for the role, prepare industry reports and analyse the possibilities
- To strive for excellence and create a new representation for the company brand in the Chinese travel and hospitality market
Requirements:
- Sound sales experience in the travel industry within China
- Proven business connections with China-based tour operators and travel agencies
- Entrepreneurial drive and self-motivation
- Excellent negotiation and diplomacy skills
- Superb communication skills
- Go-getter attitude
- Ability to self-motivate and self-organise your work
- Fluent Mandarin and English language skills
- Responsible and target driven approach
