*When the Family is at the residence, approximately 2 months a year (July/August) – Live-In is a MUST. An en-Suite Room is provided. 

A UHNW family is currently looking for an ambitious and responsible Head Butler/Household Manager, on a live-in or live-out basis to join their team in the Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, South of France. The Household Manager will keep the day-to-day operations of the home running smoothly. The primary responsibilities within the residence will be managing the efficient function of the households and staff.

You will have a hands0 on approach and be willing to be personally involved in daily tasks, as well as overseeing the rest of the household staff. 

You will have integrity, a strong work ethic and good communication skills. You must be trustworthy and able to demonstrate that you can handle confidential information appropriately. 

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the smooth running of day to day household operations
• Carrying out budget controls, bills payments, finances
• Managing the domestic staff
• Household recruitment
• Liaise with sub-contractors as and when needed
• Butler and drinks service for the Principal when he is in residence
• Table service for the Principal and guests when required, directing at other times
• Ensuring all maintenance is carried out efficiently and in a timely manner
• Taking the initiative at all time any other ad hoc household related duties
• Being available anytime

Key requirements:

• 3+ years of previous experience in a Household Manager role
