This is a great opportunity for a junior/mid-level accountant, studying for CIMA or ACCA and having a few years of accounting experience, to join an inspiring private investments firm based in the heart of London. The role is office-based five days per week 9-6 with occasional overtime during the busy periods. Responsibilities

• Processing AP and AR invoices
• Preparing and executing payment runs
• Preparing and entering GL entries for month-end close (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and etc.)
• Full balance sheet reconciliation
• VAT returns
• Variance analysis
• Cost-effectiveness analysis
• Payroll using Sage 50 (or similar software)
• Management Accounts
• Assisting with the annual budget, cash flow and forecasts
• Assisting in improving current processes
• Ad-hoc tasks

Ideally, you will be/have

• BA degree and studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA
• Proven working experience of 3+ years in accounting
• Excellent Excel knowledge – will be tested
• Good level of basic accounting skills – will be tested
• Self-sufficient approach to work as well as the ability to work as a part of the Finance team
• Language skills: fluent English. The Russian language is an advantage but not a must
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills and eye for detail
• Can-do attitude and genuineness
