This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Finance professional with excellent Excel skills and sound financial modelling experience. You will become a financial advisor to the Project Management team of the exciting RE resort project based in Budva, Montenegro. The employer is an international investment and development company in the hospitality industry in Montenegro and is currently seeking to recruit a professional Finance BP/Analyst to join their growing team.

The role reports to an International Group Financial Controller in London.


  • Businesses partnering with stakeholders to improve performance by giving clear financial guidance and recommendations
  • Preparing and researching information for financial models for projects
  • Financial modelling and advising on the future financial directions for various project stages
  • Analysing Financial Statements
  • Preparing and submitting monthly reports to the stakeholders
  • Preparing and managing cash flow
  • Preparing and managing budgets and forecasts
  • Compiling and delivering all documents and information to the external accountancy provider
  • Preparing and managing expense reports
  • Executing payment runs
  • Supervising petty cash
  • Ensuring compliance with local GAAP and Group accounting standards
  • Other ad-hoc tasks

Key Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or a related discipline
  • Past Employment Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of relevant experience as a Finance Analyst/Associate or similar
  • Financial modelling skills, preferably with RE projects
  • Language skills: Montenegrin language (mother tongue or fluent) and English (fluent) are necessary
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, v-lookups, sumifs, and logical formulas)
  • Excellent financial planning and reporting skills
  • Knowledge of accounting and a basic understanding of tax regulation
  • Knowledge of G-Suite (Google Sheets, Google Drive, Google Slides, Google Docs, Gmail, etc.) (desirable)
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to work with large amounts of numbers and data
  • Ability to plan and forecast
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Problem-solving
  • Good negotiation skills
