This is a great opportunity for a Residential Facilities Manager to join a cozy family-feel office in Mayfair, Central London. The role requires working closely with the Estate Manager and facilitating all operational communications with the office team as well as various residential estates and houses.
NB! We are looking for a candidate with relevant experience in Facilities Management, Property Management and/or Family Office Operations, who understands residential engineering, electrical, plumbing, heating, tech/smart-house facilities.
Responsibilities
- Management of services for the office as well as various residential estates, including security, hygiene, maintenance (electrical, plumbing, tech – planned and reactive), waste management and recycling, intruder alarms
- Organise and attend regular review meetings to monitor the delivery of all the service suppliers
- Co-ordinate and manage the on-site staff and ensure that relief cover is arranged for holidays
- Procurement of goods and services
- Preferable to have mechanical or electrical engineering background/qualifications, or sound knowledge and understanding of residential facilities
- Experience in managing large residential gardens and woodland areas is a plus
- Understanding smart house systems is a bonus
- Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
- Contract management and review
- Preparing tender documents for contractors and negotiating quotes
- Building utility services management (water, electricity), smart meter manager
- Regularly inspect properties to ensure it is in good working order
- Investigate and assess disrepair and schedule the appropriate trade to carry out repair works
- Health and Safety provisions and all relevant building statutory compliance
- Carry out weekly checks and inspections and maintain the H&S and Fire Safety logbooks
- Project management, supervising and coordinating work of contractors
Key Skills
- Experience in a relevant role – Facilities, Property Management, Household Management
- Sound understanding of the engineering part of residential facilities – understanding of how to maintain the electrics, plumbing, tech etc.
- A relevant/engineering degree is a big plus
- UK-based experience
- Fluent English language skills and ability to talk confidently to various service suppliers
- Good knowledge of the maintenance and repair prices for various residential services
- Reliable and trustworthy manner
- Russian language skills are an advantage
- Capable of working as a member of a small and friendly team
