Our client is an international pipeline construction company which is looking for an HSES Manager. A successful candidate will be responsible for safety- and risk-related issues pertaining to Authority relations, Infrastructure crossings and more. This role includes the identification of relevant HSES issues, the implementation of an HSES management system and managing HSES reporting procedures, including training, auditing and documentation activities.
Responsibilities:
- Deputising the HSES Manager in all responsibilities in case of absence
- Managing HSES related topics on behalf of the HSES Manager
- Advising and supporting the emergency response team. Maintaining the emergency response plans
- Coordinating and supporting of HSES and Risk interfaces between the Company and its contractors
- Prepare and coordinate environmental and social reports in close cooperation with the Authority Relations department. Prepare and coordinate the Lenders audit
- Maintain the OMP/ESMS system
- Identifying Risk and HSES training needs and ensuring that all personnel receive appropriate training
- Participating in conducting audits and inspections as HSES, follow-up on key findings
- Coordinating and supporting respective IMS tasks of the departments
- Prepare monthly reporting
- Support and coordinate all offshore activities of the company (audits, kick-off meetings, HIRA, support of day to day activities, lessons learned)
- Take a lead/participation in audit of contractors
- Evaluate of the HSES part of the tender proposals, contract, contractors
- PPE Zug/LFFG
- Take a lead of HSES Zug office. Strong cooperation with Facility Manager/Security Manager
- Prepare and provide HSES training/workshops
- Develop a yearly plan and update the internal HSES related procedures
- HSES input to the business continuity plan
- Participation in the repair strategy process and exercises
- Near misses statistics, accounting and actions
Requirements:
- Degree in an HSES related subject and/or relevant technical discipline (NEBOSH Certificate is an advantage)
- Minimum of 10 years strong practical HSES experience in an international environment
- Broad knowledge of HSE international laws, guidelines and industry standards, especially Russian Risk- and HSE-related issues
- Practical experience in the offshore O&G business preferred
- Fluent in English; German and/or Russian is an advantage
- Good Knowledge of MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
