We are currently looking for a Russian Speaking Director for influencer’s YouTube channel whose main responsibility will be to help create and carry the vision for each video through production and postproduction processes for a YouTube influencer channel.
Responsibilities:
- Work with a script for each video blog to visualize the story
- Figure out proper lighting and camera positions on set
- Work with and manage talent and operator during shoots
- Manage post-production to deliver finished products
- Brief and manage end to end any post-prod as required
- Find the right animations, special effects, sounds and music for each project
- Ensure video projects are completed to agreed deadlines and formats and to the required standard
- The ideal candidate must have:
- Postproduction speed and dexterity that does not sacrifice quality.
- Competence to be a “one-man-band,” with an eye for lighting and ear for audio, as needed in-studio.
- Deep and demonstrated knowledge of current YouTube and social media trends and how to optimise video content online.
Skills & Experience:
- Experience creating a video for social media and YouTube/or strong familiarity with social videos and YouTube production
- Experience working on a variety of creative video projects (different styles and genres)
- Treatment development and storyboarding skills
- Thorough understanding of post-production and managing the timelines for each step
- Strong communication, organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Used to working in a fast-paced environment
- Cinematography skills (shooting, lighting, sound recording, chroma key)
- Post-production skills (motion graphics, sound design, editing, colouring)
- Bonus: Experience working with Sony FS5 cameras
- Bonus: Any level of speaking Russian (not strictly required)
