This is an excellent opportunity for an Investment professional with strong expertise in FinTech and Digital investments to join a growing international investment firm with an impressive portfolio under management. The Investment Manager/Associate (FinTech & Digital Finance) is responsible for the comprehensive analysis, evaluation, and structuring of FinTech projects under consideration for investment or acquisition within the Group’s strategic development areas. The role includes conducting full-scope due diligence, building financial models, assessing business and regulatory frameworks across multiple jurisdictions, and preparing analytical materials and investment proposals for the Investment Committee and shareholders. The scope of work covers projects in the Group’s key jurisdictions (United Kingdom, Cyprus, Switzerland, UAE, USA) and promising opportunities in emerging markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Analysis and Evaluation
  • Conduct full-cycle investment analysis of FinTech projects (PSP, EMI, Open Banking, Blockchain, Digital Payments, etc.)
  • Build and maintain complex financial models, including scenario, sensitivity, and comparative analyses (DCF, multiples, precedent transactions)
  • Prepare investment memoranda, presentations, and recommendations for the Investment Committee and shareholders
  • Participate in financial, legal, and operational due diligence together with internal and external experts
  • Perform market and competitive analysis of the FinTech sector across target countries and emerging markets
  • Assess strategic fit, scalability potential, and synergies of projects with the Group’s investment strategy. Structuring and Transaction Support
  • Support deal structuring, negotiations, and execution in coordination with legal, finance, and compliance teams
  • Participate in valuation discussions, risk assessments, and integration planning
  • Coordinate collaboration with external advisors (investment banks, law firms, consulting firms, auditors)
  • Monitoring and Portfolio Management
  • Track portfolio company performance and prepare reports on key financial and operational KPIs
  • Conduct post-investment analysis to identify value-creation drivers and optimisation opportunities. Strategic Contribution
  • Contribute to the development of the Group’s FinTech investment strategy, including analysis of new business models, technological solutions, and regulatory developments
  • Monitor technological and IT trends in digital finance and assess the potential of innovations for the Group’s business
  • Timely delivery of high-quality analytical and financial materials for investment projects
  • Successful completion of due diligence and transaction support within approved timelines
  • Contribution to FinTech portfolio development and identification of new growth areas in emerging markets

Key Skills

  • Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related discipline from a leading university
  • 5–7 years of professional experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance
  • Experience in FinTech-related projects and understanding of the business and technological (IT) aspects are significant advantages
  • Experience in the Transaction Advisory or Strategy divisions of Big 4 firms is a plus
  • Strong command of financial modeling, business valuation methodologies, and investment scenario analysis
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to assess financial, regulatory, and operational risks
  • Solid knowledge of key FinTech business models (PSP, EMI, Open Banking, Blockchain, Digital Payments)
  • Understanding of regulatory and licensing frameworks for FinTech operations in international jurisdictions
  • Basic understanding of IT architecture and digital platform design in the financial technology sector is an advantage
  • Fluent English (spoken and written), Russian is a strong advantage
  • High level of professional ethics and attention to detail
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to link financial and technological perspectives
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive, structured, and capable of performing effectively in a dynamic, international environment.
