We are looking for an exceptional Estate & Facility Manager to oversee and ensure the smooth functioning and perfect maintenance of their multiple homes around the world. Travelling between the properties, the position requires someone who is hands-on and able to oversee all household matters including but not limited to: technology, engineering & maintenance contracts, construction projects, pool/spa maintenance, care & storage of wine, art & antiques, security, garden and landscaping.

The successful candidate should have sound experience in private HNW households, boutique and luxury hotels and possibly other high-profile establishments.

Responsibilities

  • Real estate construction, renovation, and maintenance projects
  • Managing and/or overseeing various construction, renovation, and maintenance projects of various scales at the Family’s properties in the UK, Eastern Europe, and France, including overall project management, overseeing contractors, planning and budgeting, procurement and quality control, reporting, etc.
  • Real estate management
  • Maintenance of personal properties of the Family in the UK and overseas
  • Looking for and presenting interesting property investment solutions
  • Lifestyle management
  • Reviewing, designing, and implementing internal policies and processes aimed at supporting the Family’s lifestyle and day-to-day activities in the most efficient way, including running the properties, the office, travel arrangements, maintaining the yacht, fleet of vehicles, etc.
  • Assets acquisition and sale (properties, boats, vehicles, art, etc.)
  • Yacht maintenance (managing crew, maintenance etc.)
  • Overseeing a fleet of vehicles
  • Assisting the Family members when legal support is required. e.g. related to the properties, various life situations, etc. (with the help of external advisors)
  • Structure and optimise the operations of all key areas
  • Develop a management strategy for the department
  • Implement a reward and incentive system for the team
  • Be hands-on, capable of solving high-level personal tasks

Key Skills

  • Sound Household/Estate Management experience with constructions projects focus and facilities management
  • Can take control of the supervision of all general household maintenance
  • Is capable of overseeing the progress of future and ongoing construction works and refurbishment projects
  • Is familiar with managing contractors and suppliers
  • Can actively seek ways of improving portfolio properties, defining the benefits of making changes and implementing them
  • Will work seamlessly with multi-national teams, devising teaching methods ensuring all the staff know how to operate the household systems relevant to them
  • Install systems and protocols that allow staff to deliver a consistent level of service across all properties
  • Identifies and solves security issues and maintains advanced security systems
  • Provides clear, concise reporting to Principals and Senior Management
  • Develops and implements effective systems of administration and documentation
  • Is enthusiastic and organised team player who will be hands-on when necessary and has a proactive approach to work
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills along with an excellent command of English both spoken and written
  • Russian language skills is a bonus
  • The ability to always remain professional in every circumstance
  • The ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality
  • A Clean Police Record or happy to undergo an advanced DBS Check
  • Effective at dealing with large amounts of information
  • Office hours: Monday to Friday 9:30 am – 6:00 pm-with flexibility required for weekends
