Responsibilities
- Supervision and management of household staff, maintaining a high level of work and performance, leadership and staff support
- Effective management of staff rotas and household schedules, holidays and sick days, etc.
- Dealing with household recruitment and conducting interviews when required
- Overseeing household operations
- Maintaining schedules of work – construction, maintenance, checks etc.
- Managing building management systems, including but not limited to electricity, water, heating, ventilation, air-conditioning, intruder & fire alarms and asset tagging to be the first point of contact when problems arise and to liaise with relevant contractors for repair and maintenance
- Organising and supervising deliveries and suppliers
- Shopping for all required household items, running household errands
- Checking utility and contractor invoices before submission
- Ensuring all assets are being managed efficiently
- Personal support for the family – attending meetings, assisting with travel, meeting and greeting, reporting to the family
- Additional ad hoc duties as required
Key skills
- Proven experience in household management, property management, staff management
- Experience working with HNW clients is ideal
- Hands-on approach, autonomous style
- Strong organisational skills
- Soft people skills and supportive motivational management style
- Results-oriented with the ability to convince, inspire and negotiate when needed
- Fluent in English and Russian
- Knowledge of life in the UK and UK-based experience is required
