This is a great opportunity for an investment professional with a strong background in venture capital to join a London/Europe/Dubai based investment firm. The location of the job can be negotiable, ideally in London or Dubai.
Your responsibilities will be:
- Managing and growing the venture investment portfolio. The portfolios consist of direct investments in start-ups across various sectors and geographies
- Searching and sourcing new investment opportunities through a network of entrepreneurs, venture funds, and professionals from the industry
- Evaluating investment opportunities. Due diligence and execution of investment deals
- Preparation of investment materials and reports for the Principal as well as the potential investor base
- Working with asset management and finance teams on investment products development and implementation
- Investment strategy development for the in-house venture investments and potential investment fund set up.
Ideally, you will be:
- An investment manager/director level professional with a specialisation in venture capital investments
- A family office or a small investment firm background is ideal, as well as an investment banking and investment fund background
- Comfortable managing own investment portfolio and sourcing investment deals and investors to add to the investment team
- Strong track record of successfully executed venture investment deals – A-C stage investments stages
- Team player with an entrepreneurial outlook
- Ideally based in London/Dubai with the potential of relocating to Dubai within one year, Staying in London could be considered for the right candidate
- Russian and/or any European language is a strong advantage.
