This is a great opportunity for a junior/mid-level accountant, studying for CIMA or ACCA and having a few years of accounting experience, to join an inspiring private investments firm based in the heart of London. The role is office-based five days per week 9-6 with occasional overtime during the busy periods. Responsibilities
- Processing AP and AR invoices
- Preparing and executing payment runs
- Preparing and entering GL entries for month-end close (accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and etc.)
- Full balance sheet reconciliation
- VAT returns
- Variance analysis
- Cost-effectiveness analysis
- Payroll using Sage 50 (or similar software)
- Management Accounts
- Assisting with the annual budget, cash flow and forecasts
- Assisting in improving current processes
- Ad-hoc tasks
Ideally, you will be/have
- BA degree and studying towards ACCA/CIMA/ACA
- Proven working experience of 3+ years in accounting
- Excellent Excel knowledge – will be tested
- Good level of basic accounting skills – will be tested
- Self-sufficient approach to work as well as the ability to work as a part of the Finance team
- Language skills: fluent English. The Russian language is an advantage but not a must
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills and eye for detail
- Can-do attitude and genuineness
