| Our client is a technology company making vehicles the way they should be – fully electric, digitally connected, and smart. They are working with some of the world’s leading businesses and governments with the goal to re-define how cities look, think and feel. Their vehicles will be 100% built by robots and are autonomous-ready. Now they are looking for an Auto Electrician to join their growing team.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Product design and development through a rapid prototyping approach. This is done by physically implementing solutions through a practical hands-on approach
- Wiring harness production
- Knowledge of automotive electrics
- Low volume/prototype background e.g. Vehicle Conversions; police, ambulance, military, motorhomes, etc
- Repairing electrical and electronic faults in cars, replacing damaged components
- Assembling and installing electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles
- Performing routine revision and maintenance on motor vehicles
Job Requirements and Skills:
- Electronics & Electrical distribution (specifically harness design and creation), Power Electronics, Mechanical Fitting and Assembly, Supply Chain Management
- Fluent Russian&English Speaker
- Experience of automotive high voltage cable assemblies, desirable, not essential
- Knowledge of diagnostics tools for vehicle electrical and electronics, desirable, not essential
- Ability to read electrical and electronic schematics and circuit diagrams, essential
- Ability to carry out/repair electrical wiring in a range of vehicles, essential
- Strong manual skills and precision when carrying out repair and testing, essential
