Work schedule: rotational system, 2 weeks on (live-in)/2 weeks off (flexible, live-in or live-out).
This is a great opportunity for a Butler with strong household organisational and operational experience to join an HNW family in their London Residence. You will be responsible for overseeing high-level service from all household team members, and the role reports to the Estate Manager and Family members. This role requires travelling with the family.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance of the London residence, monitoring delivery of the other staff members – housekeepers, cooks, other
- Organisational services for the family members and guests
- Organising family events, dinners, managing the smoothness of the events
- Travelling abroad with the family, sometimes ahead of time to ensure a comfortable arrival
- Packing and organising suitcases, keeping inventory of personal items, and controlling luggage
- Arranging travel, transfers, and accompanying family during meetings and travel
- Supporting the concept of healthy nutrition (menu control, ordering organic/farm products, liaising with the private chef)
- Researching and suggesting new services, wellness solutions, gadgets, and lifestyle options for the Principals
- Coordinating the work of housekeepers, gardeners, technicians, and support staff
- Assigning tasks and monitoring deadlines and execution
- Conducting inspections of engineering systems using checklists (electricity, heating, air conditioning, ventilation, water supply)
- Inventory management (bed linen, towels, cleaning supplies, filters)
- Preparing reports to the Estate Manager on the technical condition of properties
Key Skills
- Proven experience as a Butler, Household Manager, PA with household responsibilities etc.
- Knowledge of the HNW family living standards and expectations
- Sound people management skills
- Fluent English and Russian
- Willingness to work on a 2 weeks on/2 weeks offschedule and to travel with the family
- High level of discipline, tact, and discretion
- Experience with modern engineering and smart-home systems
- Interest in wellness and premium lifestyle services
