We have a thrilling opportunity for a strong experienced Russian Speaking Design Manager to supervise a large commercial hospitality project from initial phase of obtaining permits through design to construction and completion. The project is anticipated to take around 4-5 years to complete and will require serious commitment and dedication.
As Russian Speaking Design Manager you will play a crucial role in delivery of a large scale project and will be the first point of contact to the main investor. Your main duty will include coordination of pre-construction phase of the project and working with all the teams to produce technical documents and design management plan for a large hotel development project in the UK. You will working on architectural design, masterplanning, design management, international contract. As Russian Speaking Design Manager/ Senior Architect you will be working with outsourced designers, architects, engineers and subcontractors and will be liaising with all the parties on design matters, will be coordinating planning submissions, working together on specifications for construction work, contributing to design stage risk assessment, working with legal contracts, etc. In addition, your main duties will include not only managing all the separate teams but also anticipating and resolving any issues in the plans, legal contracts and work of third parties on pre-construction stage in order to avoid complications throughout the construction. The candidate will have a potential to continue as a Project Manager during the construction phase. The role is based in London office with travel to the site in Surrey.
To be selected Russian Speaking Design Manager you must have/be:
• 5+ years of pre-construction experience in the UK;
• Solid knowledge of the commercial and construction design stages;
• A high level of technical understanding;
• Commercial new build experience is desirable;
• Excellent communication and time management skills;
• Experience of managing architects and other design managers;
• Fluent in English as well as in Russian.
