This is a brilliant opportunity for an experienced Russian-speaking nanny to join a lovely young family in supporting their 2,5 years old daughter. The role is based in their estate in Oxshott, Surrey, so it is important that the candidate can get there on daily basis as it is a live-out position, Monday to Friday, 9 am till 6 pm with one hour for lunch and rest. Some days you will start at 10 am. There is almost no overtime, and it is paid if occurs.
Responsibilities
- Looking after the child – feeding, putting to sleep during the day, educational play, active play, reading books to a child in Russian and English
- Tidying the child’s room, displaying toys
- Child’s laundry, ironing, arranging clothes
- Taking the child to playdates, nursery, development clubs, parks etc.
- Liaising with the mother – discussing the schedule, taking advice, asking for guidance
- Occasional travel with the family – Europe and round the UK
Ideally, you will be/have
- 3 plus years of similar nanny experience in the UK
- Knowledge of the culture and 5 plus years living experience in the UK
- Fluent Russian, and at least upper-intermediate English
- A relevant degree is preferred
- Any teaching/educational development experience is a strong advantage
- DBS check
- First Aid certificate
- Positive, cheerful attitude and trustworthy approach
