The Role and Requirement:
Applicants must have the ability to multi-task, have the initiative, able to research case law, draft representations to the Home Office and advice clients.
Duties will include dealing with casework as allocated, attending clients, taking instructions, preparation for clients’ cases, dealing with correspondence, negotiating with relevant authorities, liaising with clients, file and case management.
The main responsibilities of the role will include:
- Ensuring all files are SRA compliant
- Demonstrate excellent client care skills
- Can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Demonstrate initiative and problem-solving skills
- Have an excellent work ethic
- Demonstrate great communication skills liaising at all levels
- The ability to work well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
We expect candidates with:
- At least 2 years’ PQE in general UK and EU immigration matters
- Experience in sponsor licence assessment and knowledge of PBS
- Russian/Ukrainian language skills
- Have strong communication skills both verbally and written
- IT literate and be able to use Microsoft packages
- Pay attention to detail and always use initiative
- Strong ethical standards
- Ability to work under pressure
- Excellent drafting skills
