Our client is a legal and professional services group, with over 580 professional advisers. We are now looking for an F&BI Analyst. You will be given exposure to full range of F&BI projects working very closely with F&BI team members and leadership. You will be directly assisting in performing all key elements of investigative work, including gathering forensic evidence, performing various types of document and information forensic analyses, participating in fraud related interviews, performing business intelligence assignments across different jurisdictions, analysing and testing financial and transactional data, performing email and communications reviews, undertaking data analytics, drawing charts and diagrams, writing summaries, briefs and reports, presenting the results of investigations to clients. You may be given opportunities to travel on business.
Responsibilities:
As an F&BI Analyst you will be educated to degree level. A successful candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work efficiently and independently. The role requires keen investigative skills, resourcefulness, tenacity, highly developed interpersonal communication skills and the ability to use the technologically advanced resources and tools. The successful candidate will also be able, when the need arises, to work under pressure in order to meet internal or external deadlines.
In particular we are seeking the following attributes:
- Education to Degree level (probably in a finance or accounting related discipline however the candidate’s degree subject is not determinative)
- Ability to process significant volumes of documents, information and data using appropriate technology
- Strong analytical skills
- An ability to represent complex data in a coherent and logical manner
- A willingness to help develop internal and external client relationships
- Attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Russian language (both written and verbal)
- Certification in accounting (CA, ACCA, CPA) or in fraud examination (CFE) would be an advantage
- Experience in Windows, MS Office, advanced email, advanced web and database systems is essential
- Previous experience with Forensics and Business Intelligence is desirable, but not essential.
