NB! Live-in (single occupation) only
This is a great opportunity for an experienced and capable handyman/household manager, who is also good with looking after a garden and is very hands-on in their approach, to join a well-established household around the Kent area as the live-in Handyman and a person who can look after the place.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing household maintenance, general condition and operations works
- Overseeing maintenance and timely servicing of systems and equipment of the property
- Help with sourcing and appointing contractors as well as monitoring their work in case of technical issues as to the maintenance of the surrounding properties or refurbishment works
- Working in collaboration with household staff – housekeepers, cleaners and gardeners
- Caring and arranging caring for pets
- Ensuring the household is fully stocked at all times and shopping for all required household items, running household errands, organising catering and meals for guests
- Arranging maintenance and servicing of the estate car
- Some gardening work
- Minor domestic repairs
- Other ad hoc duties as directed.
Ideally, you will be/have
- Handyman experience, good with minor repairs, some gardening – hands-on approach
- Household management and organisational management
- Russian language skills
- Basic English plus
- Some UK-based experience and understanding of the UK culture
- A trustworthy and organised approach
