This is a great opportunity for a professional finance manager/accountant to join the renewable energy company, which is expanding dramatically.
You will become a member of a great close-nit team and will be working in a team with Financial Controller and Accounts Assistant in their London headquarters. Your main duties will involve creating detailed plans for UK company`s projects in regards to their accountancy and finance as well as perform site accountancy and project accountancy. Also, you will be responsible for the completion of statutory accounts as well as tax/VAT returns. As an Accounts Manager, you will be required to undertake various ad-hoc duties to continuously improve efficiency of the company`s operation. Moreover, preparation of management accounts, balance sheets and reconciliation might be your responsibilities.
In order to be a successful candidate for the role you must have a 4+ years of committed experience in a small-to-medium company, preferably within construction sector, with diverse accounts experience. In addition, you must be familiar with Sage lane 50, payroll preparation, VAT return preparation, cost center accountancy, currency transactions and taxation. Managerial experience is a bonus, but not a necessity. As an individual, you must be proactive, positive and able to work on your own as well as in the team. Exposure into utilities, infrastructure and renewable is highly desirable.
