This is a brilliant top-level opportunity for the Russian-speaking UK-based financial professional with a proven track record as a Financial Controller/CFO to join a financial and investment services FO based in the heart of London. Our client is looking for a dynamic and knowledgeable professional who can head their finance department.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the company’s financial, administrative and risk management factors as the chief financial officer
- Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team; that will involve working alongside other members of the executive management team to determine an overall direction for the company
- Keep a close watch on the company’s budget and expenses, and investigate when necessary, to get to the root of any discrepancies
- Manage the processes for financial forecasting and budgets, and oversee the preparation of all financial reporting
- Advising on long-term business and financial planning
- Review detailed financial reports and make recommendations based on them
- Manage on-going relationships with banks, manage transactions, review banking KYC procedures and comply with the banking requests
- Working closely with management and investment team on deal structuring and investment strategy.
You will be
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (MBA preferred)
- ACCA/CIMA qualified
- 15 years plus of experience in the Financial Operations roles; and 3 years plus years of experience in a senior financial management position
- Family Office/Financial Services experience
- Exceptional communication skills
- You will be a result-oriented and efficient manager with a keen eye for detail and hands-on approach
- Fluent English and Russian language skills
- Hands-on knowledgeable and responsible approach, ability to motivate and guide finance team, work in tandem with senior management
- Sound experience in financial control, forecasting, finance strategy, investment management/asset management, team management.
