Our client is a lifestyle and home solution company specialising in Smart Home engineering. We are looking for a Russian Speaking engineer specialising in AV, IT concierge, Home Automation & infrastructure, within the residential property sector. Perfect opportunity for a technical specialist to work for a company with an extended portfolio of high-end residential properties.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing all aspects of “smart home” systems
- Basic network fault finding and repairs
- Complete all projects as per the scope of the defined, (statement of work) within the budgetary constraints as defined by provided budgets.
- Network configuration and regular maintenance
- Monitoring, checking and arranging all household appliances, AV equipment, lighting systems
- Liaising with third party suppliers and sub-contractors
- Liaising with Principal and Management team on a daily basis
- Reporting to Principal and Managing Director
- Being able to make suggestions on various improvements
- Working knowledge and hands-on experience with Crestron/Lutron/KNX
- Occasional trips abroad for service/maintenance and repairs
- Be ready for out-of-hours emergency calls.
Requirements:
- Practical knowledge of latest IT standards, hardware, new gadgets, etc
- Profound knowledge of smart home technology systems, Ability to understand, identify and repair minor problems
- Outstanding Project Management skills
- Fluent Russian/English language is essential
- UK/EU driving license is desirable
- Confident, flexible, diplomatic and trustworthy
- EU/UK passport or UK working visa/Resident’s card
- Long-term commitment to the role
